SHUXI is a lively, award winning society. It is also one of the longest running in Hallam.Being a member of SHUXI enables you to meet a huge variety of people, from all different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities! Everyone is welcome, non-students are well represented too and you don't have to be catholic to join.
SHUXI is based at the Catholic Chaplaincy @ 18 Broomhall Road, Collegiate. Many of our events are held there such as Wine Tasting, the Christmas Party and the Garden Party to name but a few!
Mass is held there every Sunday at 7pm and is followed by a meal for £1.
Fr Alan Williams, our Chaplaincy Assistant, Matt, and three other students also live there and are happy to welcome you whenever they see you.
Open House is every Wednesday where you are free to drop for relaxation from study or, if Matt is organised :o), something a bit different to do during a normal week.
